My life has gotten better ever since joining Remnant
My name is Nick Opp, and I am a 16-year-old who is in Remnant Fellowship. I am very happy and I feel that I have matured a lot since before I joined Remnant. In the past, I would often argue with my parents and my sister, and I would be mean to my cats, and I would play video games all day every day.
But then my mom introduced me to Remnant Fellowship, where I learned that being nice to people made me feel a lot better than when I only did things for myself. I grew up a lot faster than most of my peers, thanks to Ms. Gwen's teaching's of selflessness and humility. I found that I wanted to obey my parents so that I could make them happy. In other words, I started living for God and others before myself.
That was around 7 years ago. I have only grown more, spiritually. At first, I was scared that I would lose my freedom and have to read the Bible all day and constantly be doing chores for other people. But after going to God with my worries, He has rewarded me by letting me still be able to play video games and watch tv, simply inside God's boundaries. And doing anything outside of His boundaries just doesn't feel good anymore, anyway. If you give God your devotion, He truly gives back.
